If you started following this newsletter because of my post about a certain animation development project, hello, I am mostly using it at the moment to share a Sherlock Holmes webcomic…because we all heal from creative disappointment in our own weird ways and sometimes deciding to do a full visual adaptation of all sixty stories featuring the most recognizable character in literature (and his husband) is a way to rediscover the spark of creativity etc etc
I’m sorry for the disappointment, and also delighted that we get to share the results. (If you still need a boost, Never Say You Can’t Survive by Charlie Jane Anders is one of my favorite craft books about creative struggles.)
The last time I read this particular fanfic it was with [Agent] Peggy Carter, so I must express with some alarm and no small measure of shock that this version pulls even harder at my heart!
Hey I HAVE to know if the line "there are far easier ways to get me into your bedroom" was in the story and if so THAT IS INSANE.
haha no that was my addition, but frankly wilder things have been said in canon

I've been waiting for those last two panels for months! So exquisitely gentle and heavy. Thank you.
