the dying detective: part 1
If you started following this newsletter because of my post about a certain animation development project, hello, I am mostly using it at the moment to share a Sherlock Holmes webcomic…because we all heal from creative disappointment in our own weird ways and sometimes deciding to do a full visual adaptation of all sixty stories featuring the most recognizable character in literature (and his husband) is a way to rediscover the spark of creativity etc etc
Anyway this is THE DYING DETECTIVE, which is a wild story and totally worth a read (it’s short!).
"Knowing how genuine was her regard for him, I listened earnestly to her story when she came to my rooms in the second year of my married life and told me of the sad condition to which my poor friend was reduced."
Hey I HAVE to know if the line "there are far easier ways to get me into your bedroom" was in the story and if so THAT IS INSANE.
