Okay. The first step of anything is a little terrifying. When it comes to writing, I’m a fan of middles and endings. I’ve never gone on a first date until the relationship was already underway. The first day at a new job, especially around lunch-time when you don’t know where to eat, is my personal vision of hell.

Do you work on it along with another job? Also, it seems like you're a big fan of camping, so what foods are your favorite for campsites? I’ve been a fan of your works since The Witch Boy was released, and it was one of the books that inspired me to start writing/drawing my own stories. I’d love to hear about your workflow for comic-making - how do you come up with ideas, which of those ideas get turned into graphic novels vs shorter stories (ex. How the Best Hunter), how much say does your editor/publisher have in deciding which stories you make into full graphic novels. I’d also be very interested in learning more about the technical side of making comics - script writing, thumbnailing, what are your favourite settings/tips/processes for using photoshop, or what it’s like working with a colourist or writer. Looking forward to reading more from you!
I'm mostly interested in hearing about projects, seeing doodles, etc. Also news about new projects/books for sale would be helpful, since I avoid social media entirely and am very forgetful about anything but the myriad fantasies going on in my head at any given time, so I usually remember to check on an author every few years and try to catch up. Excited to see how this new not-Patreon system works out!

I've had the witch boy series on my wishlist, I'm going to pick those up. I think both my self and my wife will enjoy them.
