I feel ready. I think. Maybe not. What's the worst that can happen? I liked Scott McClouds book (a friend gave it to me). I'm inspired and feel ready to try. I really liked the idea of expanding your personal style (which I'm still figuring out).

Wow thanks for sharing Molly ! This is all amazing advice. I always struggled with sticking to one style because I like the style of the art to reflect the story. I love the ideas you have of honing in on that with the comic medium in so many ways I hadn’t even considered before. Thanks for the great read !!

Another great class! I found the section on evolving style very fascinating and it was really good advice to artists not to get hung up on their own style differences. If you hadn't pointed it out, I would not have noticed the differences between the two Witch Boy panels. Even with your prompts I still had a hard time seeing the difference in style.

Thank you, this was fascinating and really useful. I've been pondering this exact thing recently, as I'm starting to try to get back into drawing after years away from it, and currently am very much in the 'copy other artists' stage.

As always, this was the perfect combination of inspiring, informative, and reassuring. Thursdays are rapidly becoming my favorite day of the week; it's just like being back in school and looking forward to going to that one class you love the best. I literally wake up going IT'S NEWSLETTER DAY! Thank you, Molly!
