I mentioned this on the final comic update, but DARKEST NIGHT is going to be published by Scholastic on June 4, 2024, under the name THE DEEP DARK. Preorder from your local bookshop if you’re so inclined! I’ve spent the past few months turning those long scrolling updates into graphic novel spreads and cursing my past self for being so chaotic about how I layer my photoshop files. I also hand lettered everything, which looks so good that I’m furious because now I HAVE to hand letter all future projects.

Such a gorgeous cover! Seeing all the careful, intentional considerations that go into such an important composition like this remains one of favorite parts of the process to see - especially the way you balanced the warm, desert oranges and the cold, hopeless blues. I cannot wait to hold it in my own two hands.
