I love how your art is just jumping from one dark-haired-lanky-brooding-protagonist x sunshine-blond-best-friend queer couple to the next lol. Your art is gorgeous!!! The colors, details, and poses get me every time.
it's Simeon Solomon, 1865- 'The Bride, Bridegroom and Sad Love' - about the pain of your boyfriend getting married to a woman. breaks my heart every time I see it.
Aaaaaa that’s so heartbreaking in the context of The Sign Of Four being the story where Watson gets a female love interest for some stupid reason, and Sherlock plays the violin to get him asleep but then he DREAMS about her, and why is classic literature like this 😭
I’m reading through a bunch of the OG Sherlock Holmes stories right now, including The Sign Of Four! and I’ve loved every single other Holmes story I’ve read. But this one. I hated it so much. Genuinely the best part about reading it was that now it’s over and I don’t have to read it again. The racism… 😰 and Watson being shoehorned into a heterosexual romance. it’s just so. aaaaaaaargh
Beautiful. I love the way you draw people looking at each other.
This is superb. The light!
There is just absolutely no heterosexual explanation for that third excerpt lol

at least with Harrow and Gideon there's a redhead in the mix...
You are the entire reason I need to reread all the Sherlock Holmes stories/novels right now!! ♥️♥️♥️
