I’ll be sharing some of my hobbit comics on here! You may have seen them previously on Twitter. This is one from the Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring, Book One, Chapter Four: Shortcut to Mushrooms. It takes place while the hobbits are fleeing Bag End (minus Merry, who is waiting to meet them at their destination across the Shire) and after they run into some elves. All text is directly from the book and of course I don’t own any of these characters or words!
This is one of my top three favourite Sam and Frodo scenes and you have depicted it so beautifully? It just feels... true ❤️
