It’s February 1st, which means it’s the magical day when cartoonists draw one comic per hour about what they did (because the life of a cartoonist is mysterious, action-packed, and glamorous). I’ll be posting my hourlies here as I draw them - this email contains the first one, but if you click the ‘view online’ link in your email you can read along as I update this post throughout the day.

I'm glad you're in an easier place to handle others' perception. I struggled with this for too long, and with the help of my therapist, a DBT group, and other things in my toolkit, I am slowly letting go of that.
One of my artist friends lost her Apple drawing pencil that she uses (with similar annoyance) and had to go the Apple store for "just that ONE thing".
Well done on distancing yourself from Twitter. As an introvert, I've always had a hard time with it, mostly because I think it's an extrovert's domain. Also, I think it's a big draw on any creativity with its overwhelming deluge of static. I deleted my profile and haven't looked back since : )
Good luck! I totally empathise with distancing yourself from Twitter too. It put such a strain on my self worth and that I had to be presenting or acting in a certain way to people. You don't realise how much of an influence it has on your life until you work up the guts to step away from it.
