I don't know if I am accurately reading into this, and I know that if I am, you would never confirm it anyway. If I am though, I wanted to say that I understand. I've learned that, when we know we can't say no, just seeing if we can keep maybe a finger from being burned this time is something. Being just a little less burned is better than nothing. 🧡

If this doesn't apply to you, maybe it will apply to someone else. :)

such a beautiful one, i love it. i've written an alt text for it and wanted to know what you think (i'm still learning how to properly do it—and english is not my first language, so please let me know if you would choose different words). thank you in advance!

a vertical comic strip with five borderless panels captioned with pieces of handwritten text, the first and last two with a black circle as background. panel 1: the text "foolish child" above the illuminated profile of a short-haired person wearing glasses and a T-shirt, a serious expression on their face. panel 2: the text "you know" above a small floating flame. panel 3: the text "the fire will burn you" above two hands, the tips of the fingers black, the background a grey smudge. below it is the text "you have seen it happen". panel 4: the text "but still" above a reaching hand, the tips of the fingers illuminated, the text "you reach" below it. panel 5: the person looks at the flame floating right in front of their face, their hands in the air around it. below it, the text "there are some fires you could never resist."
