This is very real feeling, yeah. I've had an experience like this with someone I really care about recently. And it hurts because sometimes they aren't aware of how much power they have over you in the moment. The emotions sometimes cause people to act absolutely monstrous. Luckily in my case my friend calmed down and we were able to process it. I did tell him later that he scared me.
