witch boy illustrations
This Monday I wanted to share a few pieces I drew for the French versions of the Witch Boy series (Le Garçon Sorcière, La Sorcière Secrète, and La Sorcière Du Solstice). I took French in high school and promptly forgot it, so it’s cool trying to decipher the French versions.

The above piece is based on a sketch I did while I was brainstorming The Midwinter Witch. I had the pieces of the book: a winter festival, Aster competing in a magical competition, Ariel having mysterious dreams of a family member. The sketch below helped me figure out what happened when Ariel met her aunt Isabel.
I had drawn two books about witches and NO ONE had ridden on anything resembling a broomstick, so it just felt appropriate! Isabel pulls a branch off a pine tree, which is inspired by the witches in His Dark Materials.

If SFP will not be finished can you reveal what the plotline was for the final book and how it was going to end. I don’t like everyone being in limbo.
As for this webcomic creator who controls the 5th largest webcomic would you be able to use social media to speak out against him personally? He has personally cyberbullied against me and caused great grief and I’m sure he has hurt others.
