sketchbook: the yellow face + the hound of the baskervilles (pt 1)
Hello I hope you’re having a good day! Here’s some art in the continuing Sherlock Holmes series which has slightly taken over my life.
Doodles for THE ADVENTURE OF THE YELLOW FACE (a title which has NOT aged particularly well but is referring to a weird wax mask) - in which Holmes fails to both come up with the correct solution AND to make a confession to his friend.
And then….I drew a LOT for the Hound of the Baskervilles, which is an entire novel and a really fun one at that (solo Watson! big ghost dog! creepy skull guy and equally creepy bug guy!). So here is part one:

Since Holmes is public domain, there's no reason why you can't make these into a book someday....
As the former host of a JohnLock tumblr blog in ye olde days (aka 2011/12 tumblr), the books are just SO much gayer I cannot believe I thought Moffat/Gatiss was the height of queer pining (to be fair, I also thought I was "just an ally" and also "a girl" but)
