sketchbook: the cardboard box
the above drawing is a direct reference from an original Holmes illustration by Sidney Paget that I love. Fun fact: Paget kept drawing Holmes handsome and Doyle had to be like ‘make him weirder looking’. anyway in this one he looks like a sad little shrimp and I love it.
As always the comic is wonderful and your notes about the story make me laugh!
