One of my final classes at CCS this semester spent time discussing representations of trauma in comics, and why it’s so helpful in healing & understanding - and the ways our brains psychologically process trauma is so wildly similar to the way we process comics?? My friend did some research and presentation on it, It’s wild. Mags and Nessa’s stories feel so strongly reflective of this in a way that’s hard to put to words and is in that way really beautiful...so thank you
This is super powerful, Molly. The slightly off-sync color is genius and really conveys so much of what is going on in this scene (and also inside Ness) as this unfolds. Brilliant. <3
