I just want to let you know, your art has really helped me. I see myself, in this comic. I don't see myself in they way traditional media portrays me---that all my traits, are slightly wrong, or deviant. In your art, all that is erased, and peoples beautiful facets, those don't fit into gendered ideas, but break away from them, are seen as normal, and even desirable, in a way that I have rarely seen before. In your comic I will say I feel the fear of being a queer person in the patriarchy, the having to make oneself smaller, and avert your eyes so as not to interact with the jocks just be able to quietly exist. Also your comics just have so much heart in them. When I read Girl From the Sea, it made me cry both times I read it. I just wanted to let you know, thank you for normalizing us, and empowering us, with your art. You inspire me to do what you do someday. Also I think it's awesome that you love fanfiction. I also love fanfiction, and you and Michael Sheen both helped me feel alright with that aspect of myself as well. So thanks again for providing this refuge. Your art is brave, exhilarating, and so real. So thank you.
